During the 2023-24 school year, ABP conducted a trip to Puerto Rico focused on promoting environmentally-friendly farming techniques. Trip participants volunteered in collaboration with the nonprofit Plenitud PR, engaging in educational farming workshops, hands-on training at a farm, and more!

About: Hilltop Gardens’ goal is to create a space to have an experiential learning experience getting to experience gardening and farming in a natural environment. Some opportunities for learning that people can learn about are weeding, mulching, preparing beds, and more!

Partners IN Food and Farming
About: Partners IN Food and Farming aims to foster a more equitable food system throughout Indiana through engaging various players in the Indiana food system, whether it is public sector organizations, private sector organizations or nonprofits. The statewide nonprofit conducts programming that allows for farmers to share information, receive mentorship, as well as gain advice/input from advocates for food security.
